$ 5 Friday: Another 70's Dress.







































I gave the preview a couple of days ago and now it's finished.  We had a FREEZING photo shoot, one cute and spunky girl, some balloons that were blowing everywhere.... and here are the results.....

I used 1 yard of fabric from Hobby Lobby which was $4.76  and some of the scraps of white Kona cotton for the Peter Pan collar and the sleeve bands.  I also took out the zipper in the back (why are zippers so expensive?) and used a trick that I learned a while back....I will share it next week:)

  2. I really love the fabric and I really want you to teach me the trick...I cut out a new dress but it has a zipper that I am afraid to attempt.
