Guest Post-- A Vintage Pillowcase Dress Tutorial

Today we are over at the lovely Ladybird Ln guest posting about her fabulous Pillow Fight for charity. Carlee asked us to join in and of course we said yes.  It's a cause and a hospital that is near and dear to our hearts, so if you want to donate a pillow case or two, here's how.  And even better is that you can win some awesome prizes just for donating.  How great are Carlee and 14-year old Malynn for dreaming up such an amazing project?

Today's tutorial is how to make a vintage pillowcase dress.  Liz posted about pillowcase dresses a couple of weeks ago and some of you asked how to make one.

And if you don't have a vintage pillowcase on hand....click HERE to get the tutorial for making a fabric one.

  2. I still vintage pillowcases. It must have taken someone forever to cross stitch the bottom of that one. It's really beautiful.

  3. Cute! I always see beautiful little embroidered linens at the thrift store and never know what to do with them . . . but you guys clearly do. I need to start collecting them! And when I'm on Hoarders in a few years, I'm blaming you.
