A Back to School Peasant Dress.

It is still hot as blazes here....but we needed a new and quick back to school dress.  So a 30 minute peasant dress and some Old Navy leggings did the job perfectly.  I cut the dress a bit longer, shirred 4 or 5 rows to make it drop-waisted and added a ribbon on top and we were done!

P.S.  Liz and I are still recovering from our craft market-experience which went so well.  We promise to tell you all about it soon.

A huge thank you to all of you who came and introduced yourselves..... we get a little embarrassed about being recognized (we are pretty shy girls in real life) but it was seriously so fun to meet you!  It totally made our day.

{And so sorry if we looked scary.......with the rain and lack of sleep......yeah, let's just say by the end of yesterday we totally felt like walking zombies.  I caught a glimpse of myself part-way through yesterday on another caffeinated-beverage run at the gas station so we could stay awake....and scared myself.}

But it went so amazingly well and was so fun.  We just need a good night of sleep and we will be back to normalcy soon!

  1. I love it. My last facebook post vowed no more peasant dresses/tops because I have been a bit obsessed this summer. But now I want to add shirring. . .
