Six F Words (And a Giveaway)

Fabric Fest, Fortunate, Facebook, Friends, and Followers.
Come on people, what did you think I was going to say?
Sheesh.

Let's start with FABRIC FEST.
Riley Blake just announced it's upcoming Fabric Fest that will be held this September in Las Vegas.  It is going to be so much fun--3 days full of classes, a Vegas show, and a bus quilt tour.

Below is the class schedule for you to peruse.  (Or, you can click HERE for more details on registration and other Fabric Fest information.)  We'd love to have you join us.  It's going to be a great time.
Which brings us to FORTUNATE.
Elizabeth and I were invited to teach several classes at Fabric Fest.  We will have classes on how to draft children's patterns, sewing knit skirts, and lead a panel discussion on how to develop your own signature style.  How fortunate we feel not only to be able to attend Fabric Fest but to be included on the same instructor list with the rest of the skilled women who will be sharing their talent with those at the conference.

Now I want to talk about FACEBOOK for a minute.
You people are crazy!!!
It's like a whole other world over there...I type in something and like 5 seconds later someone has something to say about it!  It's kind of scary---but I like it!
So thank you to everyone who has found there way over to our FACEBOOK page and made me feel a little less apprehensive about joining the 21st century.

And finally before we sign off for the day we have something to giveaway to one of our FRIENDS or FOLLOWERS.
(Ok---so we've probably never met but we still can be friends and as far as the whole following thing goes...we're pretty laid back about that too...we're just glad you stop by.)
So let's just say "Today we have a giveaway."

And that giveaway is a fat quarter bundle from Riley Blake Designs!
(Hooray!  That is a lot of fabric!)

So if you want to enter to win just click over HERE to their page of currently available fabric, look around, and then come back and leave us a comment telling us which line is your favorite.
Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy.
Have a fantastic day everyone!

*NOTE:  This giveaway is now closed...but we will have another one again soon!

  31. How on earth is anyone supposed to choose a favorite?! I would love the Sweetcakes or Simple Life to make a quilt for my daughter. I can totally see the quilt that would not be too "little kid" for my 15 yr old son made from SuperStar. The Pirate Matey would be awesome for my nephews, or the On the Go or Zoofari would be perfect for a cousin's new little one.

I love anything with polka dots and the chevrons are awesome as well. For me, I guess my top two very favorites are the Little Matryoshka (just so adorable!) and Avignon. (Or maybe Sweetest Thing or Flutter or Mystique or Hello Sunshine.)

I guess what I'm saying is that I would love any of them!
