A Fun Father's Day Idea: A Cereal Specimen Chart If there is one thing in this world my husband loves (besides me and the kids of course) it's cereal. The man REALLY loves his cereal. In fact, he would be happy eating cereal for all 3 meals everyday for the rest of his life. Seriously. So awhile ago when I saw a menu with actual pieces of cereal glued onto it I started thinking how I could adapt that into something funny for my husband. This is what I came up with: "The Cereal Specimen ... View the Post

Thrifted Thursday: Gracie’s Summer Sun Suit
Hey! So, welcome to our second week of Thrifted Thursdays. Let's get started.Awhile back I bought a Strawberry Shortcake sewing pattern for a sun suit. (It cost $0.25 and came from the basement of someone selling off boxes her aunts old patterns. What a find!)Then a few weeks later I saw over on Kojo Designs a series on coloring your summer. I had been holding/ hoarding it for a year, until I spied this pattern and thought that it would be darling together. I had some green fabric (binding left over from the Doll quilts), turquoise piping that matched perfectly....and some darling green vintage ... View the Post

Summer Camp Chair Tutorial (That you can make yourself!)
When I was little my siblings and I had these little camp stools--and we used them ALL the time. I remember carting them around to parades, fireworks, campouts, bonfires, and every other summer activity that we did. Ahh, those were the days.... So, in my summer nostalgia, I was telling Liz about how I wanted to make some stools like I had when I was little for our kids. And so we started talking....and we came up with these summer camp stools for our kids. AND. THEY. ARE. AMAZING. They ... View the Post
