I love this quilt pattern.
It is our Starting at Square One Quilt Pattern and a few months back I used it to make this toddler quilt using our Shine Bright fabric.

The quilt itself finishes up at 50″ by 50″ which is the size that I love for lap quilts but is also the perfect size for my 7 year old to use for, what we call them at our house, a “couch quilt”.
However, this particular quilt was made for a brand new arrival and should make a great floor quilt for the sweet baby.

If you are new to quilting or need to make a gift in a hurry this is a great pattern. Really it is so simple! It is a large square in the middle surrounded by two rows of 5″ squares and a border.

It’s such a fun way to showcase all of the darling coordinating quilts that are out right now.
For this quilt I used the Shine Bright fabrics we designed for Riley Blake Designs along with some of their basic prints…like swiss dot…I can’t get enough of swiss dot…and I was so happy with how the main print looked framed in right in the center of the quilt!
If you would like to make the same quilt I put together a few kits that you can buy HERE in our shop.
Or if you would like a copy of the PDF pattern you can find that HERE in our shop as well.
Happy Quilting!
