Sewing projects
I have been doing some sewing projects for the kiddos lately, which is a restful thing. I don't get very long to sew with a 7 week old, but it still makes me happy.I made a dress for Hannie and some pants to match for Isaac. I hope to get a tie made for Aaron before Sunday but we'll see how it goes. That afternoon I unloaded my finds and added this piece of work onto one of my bookshelves and promptly forgot about it. There it sat, for months, until one night I couldn't sleep and was perusing my book shelves for a good read. And what a good read it was. This book was written in 1969 and is now out of print but it's advice on the art of homemaking is classic. Many ... View the Post
