The Poncho Prototype!!!

Alright, so a few months back I posted about my wasting hours of time and miles of fabric working up a cape, poncho, Little Red Riding Hood type article of clothing. It didn't work until now....With the help of Liz and my mom I finally worked out a pattern I can use. Hooray!!! I am in love with these little capes! Unfortunately, Grace was not. $5 Friday…Another Bridal Shower Gift

I am soon to be getting an excellent sister-in-law and I was invited to a shower for her a few nights ago. Now, while she is admittedly worth far more than $5, portions of her gift from me were only $5. Today I mailed off the second half of a fun project to the ladies over at Smitten Furnishings on Etsy. (Check them out. Their shop is DARLING! It is full of awesome furniture and super cool artwork made from vintage buttons....my favorite piece is the white butterfly, made with white buttons on a white background in a beautiful white frame.
