The Art of Homemaking

There isn’t anyone you couldn’t love…

Awhile back Elizabeth and I were at a conference where this quote from Mister Rogers was shared.  I had heard it before...and I agreed with it...and I liked it well enough but it didn't touch my heart the way it did that day and how it has since. It seems as though that quote was directed at me and was to be a reoccuring theme in my life from that moment on.  I keep finding myself in situtations and with people that, at first glance, I wouldn't imagine having a lot in common with. ... Curiosities Quilt

There are so many memories and stories that we have from Skirting the Issue, but one of them feels so special. I remember one afternoon a few summers ago. liZ called me on the phone while I was on vacation ... View the Post

Printable Harry Potter Quotes

Today we have some printable Harry Potter Quotes to share as part of our friend Marissa's annual Harry Potter event over on Rae Gun Ramblings. We love this event and every year I swear it gets better! Last year we shared an embroidered book mark project where I got to talk about one of my all time favorite Harry Potter charectures....SNAPE! And I may have mentioned my aversion to main charectures...of whom I am usually not a fan of. But this year did something different! ... View the Post
