Today we are so excited to share with all of you our new fabric line, "Shine Bright" and some of the projects we have been able to create out of the fabric line. It's always exciting to show what we have been working on behind the scenes for awhile! When we first designed "Shine Bright" it was first inspired by our girls--because we want them to always remember to remember who they are and inspire confidence in each one of them to let their own lights shine so bright. But we later discovered ... View the Post

How to Sew Hexagons With a Sewing Machine Maybe the title of today's post should be "don't fear the hexagons in quilting!" because it is a question that we are often asked. Queen Sized Black and White Gingham Quilt
Awhile back we showed you how to make a Gingham Baby Quilt but I just recently re-did my guest room and wanted a large black and white gingham quilt to go in that room. And I REALLY REALLY love this quilt! It is so great in that room and looks amazing with the giant sized gingham squares. It's such a simple quilt ... View the Post

It was from my Grandma Lova and inside the giant box was a handmade tied quilt that she had made for my bed. It was soft and super fluffy (I now suspect it had double batting in it) with a navy blue sheet on one side and a butterfly sheet on the other. I loved that warm quilt and had it on my bed for years. And now as an adult I appreciate it even ... View the Post
