We have a few things coming up that we’ve been needing to talk about but haven’t. So we thought today would be a good day to just announce everything and do it all at once.
Let’s go in order starting with what’s coming up first.
Last year Elizabeth and I were able to attend the SNAP conference and had a great time meeting so many fun ladies in person. So this year when we had the opportunity teach a class there we jumped at the chance. Our class will be on the afternoon of the 20th (Saturday) and we will be teaching how to draft a pencil skirt to fit your own measurements. It should be a lot of fun!
Are any of you coming to SNAP? If so, we’d love to meet you!
Next comes Skirting the Issue
We’ve been asked if we will be doing Skirting the Issue again and the answer is YES!!!
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!
And we have some new things to add to it this year and we hope to make it even bigger and better than it was last year. Skirting the Issue will happen over the summer so watch for the upcoming announcements. (And if you don’t know what Skirting the Issue is all about you can read about it HERE.)
And last but not least we have:
This fall (in September to be exact) we are headed to Las Vegas to teach a few classes at Riley Blake’s Fabric Fest!
We are so excited! This is going to be a fantastic conference.
Everything from where we are staying to the classes to the speakers is going to be just wonderful. We feel so lucky to be able to be a part of it. (Our classes will be on drafting children’s patterns, making zippered pouches, and developing your own personal style.)
If you want to join us I think there are a few spots still available. (You can find out HERE. And if you do register to come you can enter our code Simple 103 when you sign up!)
Alright. So I think that is everything for today. I know, that was a lot of business announcements but we will be back to “normal” tomorrow with the Art of Homemaking. See you then!
PS—If you haven’t gone over to Sew It All to vote we would really love it if you did. The voting closes Monday. Thanks….and we promise that really is all of the business for today!
