Well, it’s Monday and we are going to start this week off with a look into the past, the present, and the future…
So, let’s begin with the future and then make like Huey Lewis and the News and go back in ti I ime…
Next month at SNAP we know that we are going to get to meet JEANINE THOMLINSON (or possibly her friend Crystal that she wrote about in her comment) in person because she won our SNAP Conference ticket giveaway!!! Hooray Jeanine!!!! SNAP (and especially the sewing room) is going to be so much fun. We’ve been working behind the scenes to get the classes, decorations, and projects together and we are so excited for April to come!
We are trying to figure out Google +. I thought I was being cool when I set us up over there but, alas, I wasn’t. Just last week we received a message asking why our Google account was “private”.
Private…as in DO NOT ENTER…as in Trespassers will be Prosecuted…as in Keep Your Hands and Arms inside the Vehicle at All Times…Well, maybe not that last one…but the other two, yes, and NO! We didn’t mean for our Google + to be private! We aren’t the exclusive type….
So we got busy and fixed the problem and it’s public now but we are still trying to figure out the ropes over there. To be honest I still don’t understand circles. (I think maybe we are in some with some of you???) I’m not even kidding when I say google+ circles are as mysterious to me as crop circles…I don’t know where to find them, who makes them, or what to do with them. (No lie.)
HOWEVER, I do know that we added the Google + button up there on our sidebar…and that it works…and that we will keep trying to figure it out. (But in the mean time….any advice any of you have about Google + would be awesome!) And I promise we will figured this out. If I could figure out Instagram I should be able to figure out Google+ right???
Over the weekend I pulled out a shirt that I had made for Grace several years ago and that I wanted Ruth to wear this spring. It was one of my favorites, the fabric, the pattern, the way it fit and washed so nicely… I knew I wanted Ruth to wear it to.
The shirt is actually 3 years old…and was from a project Elizabeth and I did for our girls for Easter:
Look at our girls…they were so little!!!
You don’t realize it until you see something like this but time goes by so quickly…I say this all the time but I wish I could freeze time, just for a little while, so I could keep my children as children for a little while longer….
Man, I love our girls…
Also, while looking for the shirt I found an extra doll that hasn’t been painted. Maybe I should get her done up for Ruth so that she can join the club…
But not today. Today my kids are out of school and we are going to play.
Thanks for stopping by. We will see you all tomorrow!
