We are so excited to announce our 2014 Skirting the Issue Sewing Night and YOU are ALL invited!!!
Here are all the details:
Who: You and me and Elizabeth
What: A evening of sewing skirts for girls in foster care, hanging out, eating treats, and winning door prizes.
When: Thursday, July 17th from 4:00-7:00
Where: This year our Sewing Night will be held at Daines Cotton Shop in Provo. (500 North Freedom Blvd.) We LOVE that store…the ladies there are SO wonderful!
Why: To sew skirts for girls in foster care, to visit, and to enjoy one anothers company.
What to Bring: Just yourself and your sewing machine! (And any skirts that you may have already made to donate!)
***If you have a skirt started or fabric that you would like to use, please bring it! If not we will have supplies on hand for you to use….fabric, irons, pins, rotary cutters, etc. As well as some simple skirt instructions and sizing charts if needed!*****

Yea! Sounds like fun, I’ve added this to my calendar & will plan on sewing along. What a wonderful idea.
We’ll be sewing “along with” you on Wednesday June 16 in Colorado. We’re going to have 4 of us sewing different designs and sizes to donate. I’m so glad I stumbled across this on IG!

I’d like to have a sew-along at our store. What patterns are you using? And could you share the pattern grading method for sizes? Are quilting cottons ok?
That’s hubby’s birthday but maybe I can trick him into going to provo for delicious Black Sheep Cafe and have him drop me and Teddy off while he looks at records. bwahaha that’s my evil scheming laugh. Okay hope to see you awesome girls
