Today I get to share the girls Easter Dresses for 2016.
I actually got them done early this year thanks to our friend Melissa from The Polka Dot Chair. Melissa has a brand new line of fabric out with Riley Blake Designs called “Wonderland” and we get to be a part of her blog tour to show it off!
I was lucky enough to have a sneak peek of her fabric line before it was released and as soon as I saw it not only was I was in love but knew that I wanted to make both of my girls Easter dresses with it.
I was pretty sure that Ruth would love the gold sparkle and the pinks.
(And I was right.)
But I also thought that Grace would be all about the black and white.
(And I was right again.)
And both girls are in LOVE with the bunnies.
So it was an all around win this year in the Easter dress department…I have two finished coordinating dresses, two happy girls, and two more weeks left until Easter!
Thank you Melissa for inviting letting us try out your darling new fabric line. (And to see more projects using her line you can hop on over to her blog.)
*PS: Speaking of sneak peak….I know you have seen us make this dress before…about 20 million times…it is (and probably always will be my favorite)…well..for years now we have promised to release it as a pattern….and this May we will finally be releasing it at Quilt Market as part of a whole new line of girls patterns! We are so excited!!! Watch for details coming soon!
*PPS: If you are still working on Easter dresses this year here are two tutorials that might help:
