Do you ever have those weeks where you feel like you are failing everything? The laundry is stacked like Mount Everest, everyone needs to be at different locations (with you) at the exact same time, there is no bread for lunches, and no one can find anything that they own? Not my best days in the art of homemaking. Well, that is my house this week... And weeks like these can get so overwhelming. I am hoping that most of you can relate in some way. How do you deal with days (or weeks) like ... View the Post
SNAP! Sewing Room Giveaway for YOU!
When liZ and I were approached about doing a Sewing Room at SNAP.....we were excited, nervous, thrilled and fearful all at the same time. What if we couldn't get sponsors? What if no one comes? And the what-ifs continued.....for months before the conference started. But as we emailed out for teachers, sponsors, fabrics, and sewing machines....some of our fears were set aside. Saturday Sewing at Simple Simon Linky Party

REALLY HATED IT. Like...I cried. Why would my mom buy me such an archaic, repressive, stereotypical gift? Me! The girl who hated all things domestic...the girl who would rebelled ... View the Post

We went around and took pictures of the kids in every room, had some good cries and also some good laughs....and the kids talked about what each of them had done in all of the rooms. But for me? I would undoubtedly say that this was the hardest room for me to leave. The kitchen. My first kitchen. I sometimes have a divided relationship with ... View the Post
