Easter Dress: Take 1

Over the weekend I finished up what I thought would be Gracie's Easter dress. This is it: I like it. It's simple and classic and an ENTIRE SIZE TOO BIG!!!! The pattern (one I have that is so old it has a patten number instead of a copyright date) is a size 2. And although Grace is almost 3 she is tiny and usually wears size 2 clothing. I thought it would be a perfect fit...but...I thought wrong. It ... View the Post

Patterns

Guess what came in the mail today……

MORE vintage patterns.....and I think I am in love.  (I know I say that about every pattern, but take a look at these beauties and I think you will agree.) I bought them all in a lot of 30 patterns off of ebay and even with shipping they turned out to be around 40 cents each.  SCORE.  I should wait until $5 Friday, but I couldn't stand it and I had to share. By the way, I tried to only pick a couple favs...but even that wasn't possible. I have already cut out an Easter dress and have a ... View the Post

Trivet Headband Tutorial

I love this kid. She melts my heart. And I love making things for her. It's like putting the icing on the cake, it's like putting the ribbon on the package, it's like one of my favorite things in the whole world. Who wouldn't want to play dress up with something so wonderful? (And I know that is how all you moms and grandma's feel about your little ones...I think that is why we all craft.) Anyways, currently this is a project that I love to make. It's easy and fun and little girls look adorable ... View the Post
