All About Easter.

Did you see us at Kiki Create's "All About Easter" yet? Did you see where we debuted what the Easter Bunny could be dropping in your little girlie's basket? If not head over there to see some dolls that we made.  Then come back for the tutorial...you really don't want to miss this one.Aren't they adorable? Trivet Headband Tutorial

I love this kid. She melts my heart. And I love making things for her. It's like putting the icing on the cake, it's like putting the ribbon on the package, it's like one of my favorite things in the whole world. Who wouldn't want to play dress up with something so wonderful? (And I know that is how all you moms and grandma's feel about your little ones...I think that is why we all craft.) Anyways, currently this is a project that I love to make. It's easy and fun and little girls look adorable ... View the Post

Another Vintage Pattern. And a dress.

This dress is made from a 1968 pattern.  And wow, this bodice took me a long time.  I kept making dumb mistakes and having to pick out whole seams....yikes.  I was also loving this gingham in the store....but as I kept unpicking seams it got more and more "red ridingish" for me.  I decided then to add some turquoise for contrast....but I don't know.....a good play dress I guess. What are you sewing this week?  Or unpicking seams on?  (That's my world sometimes.....) P.S.  Linked HERE ... View the Post

I Like Big Wreaths and I Can Not Lie….

I'm a product of the 80's and there's nothing I can do about it. It's in my genes. I like my hair big, my music loud, my jeans tight, my soda caffeinated, and my wreaths FAT and FLUFFY. That being said, here's the new spring wreath I made for my front door: It's big, it's fat, and, oh... it's bright. But I deserve some credit---it isn't spray painted neon pink (yet) and it isn't wearing shoulder pads. So there may be some hope for me..sometime...in the distant future.... Anyways, here are the ...
