Today as we are wrapping up our book tour we are happy to be a part of our friend Melissa’s Sundressing book tour!
Every year Melissa hosts a series on her blog (Melly Sews) that consists of 30 days of Sun Dresses. (So fun right?)
And this year that series is celebrating the sundresses featured in Melissa’s first book which just happens to be all about…..SUNDRESSES!
The sundress I chose to make is based on the darling “Palmer” dress in Chapter 2 of Sundressing.
And because Melissa knows I don’t follow directions she gave me free range to change things as I chose.
Although…we only changed the length (shortening it) and the waistline (leaving out the elastic) and then…because Grace helped…we left off the bottom ruffle (even though I think the ruffle is darling).
But because Grace helped…and chose the dress…and the fabric…it means that this dress will get A LOT of wear this summer.
It was so fun to be a part of Melissa’s series and book tour!
To see other dresses and find out more about her book visit her site Melly Sews!
AND to WIN a copy of here book just leave us a comment here saying which length sundress you are most likely to wear: Maxi, Midi, Knee, or Mini length.
(The winner will be chosen next Friday and must be a resident of the United States.)
