A few months ago I wrote a post called: 25 Ways to Ask Your Kid's "How Was School Today?" Without Asking Them "So How Was School Today?". I wrote it late one night after a conversation with my husband about our son growing up and my determination to keep the lines of communication open with him. It was a list of questions that I actually started asking him and found success with. To say that I was taken back by the response it received is an understatement. The amount of page views that ... Works in Progress
Do you ever have those months where you feel like you are spinning your wheels? And you have nothing to show for it? Well, that's me this month. I have so many works in progress that it's not funny. And I feel like if I write them down I will get better about getting them accomplished. I was at school performance last month and was a bit late so I was sitting in the back...and halfway during the performance I couldn't even hear a thing on at the front because so many parents were talking (loudly) in the back. I felt badly, mostly because I was a teacher and I full-well knew the hours that had gone in to teaching the kids those songs. I felt badly that half of the room was talking so loudly and ...
