A Family Photo Booth

For our church Christmas party this year my husband and I got the chance to work together to create a family photo booth. We don't often get to work on projects together but when we do we have a lot of fun.  My husband is pretty handy so even if my ideas are a little crazy he can figure out how to make them happen. We had seen booths like this before and so we both knew exactly what we wanted to make. We started with an 8'x4' piece of plywood. Then my husband added some left over ... View the Post

When Skies are Grey Fabric Tour–15 Minute Pillowcases

I am fairly confident that every item that I make with our When Skies Are Grey fabric will be for my children...dresses...quilts...dolls...skirts...and these pillow cases. When Skies are Grey Fabric Tour–Polka Dot Chair

Today we are so happy to share a sneak peak of Melissa's When Skies Are Grey project.  Melissa is the mastermind behind "The Polka Dot Chair" and a fellow fabric designer for Riley Blake Designs.  Our paths began to cross 5 years ago and we are so happy that they did. Melissa has been a good friend and we try to visit with her in person every chance that we get.  Which isn't very often...due to the fact that we live half way across the country!  But when we do....it usually involves lunch ... When Skies are Grey Fabric Tour–Ameroonie Designs

Ameroonie Designs!  Amy has been a good friend and good help...like this spring when When Skies Are Grey was to be shown at quilt market....and we had only a limited amount of advanced yardage to use and a fast approaching deadline...she helped up out in a pinch sewing up items for our booth. And...I have seen the project that she is sharing today "in real life" and I promise it is just as darling in person as it is in photographs. Hop on over to HER BLOG and check out all the details! ... View the Post
