This coat is actually one of my favorite pieces that I made for the Lookbook this season. Lookbook: The Heart Tee.
I am almost embarrassed to post this as a tutorial but after the last heart shirt went over so well, I added another heart one into the mix for Fall/Winter. The inspiration for this shirt came from this darling shirt and I thought the idea was so simple and cute. The hearts are cut from felt and just sewn up the middle so they are three-dimensional in real life. I love felt for that reason. Project Runway…Dmitry…who knew?
So another season of Project Runway just ended.And I was a little surprised at the winner... Dmitry(source) Hummm...who knew?Not me. Don't get me wrong. Lookbook: The School Girl
Today's "School Girl" look is a Peter Pan collared blouse (you knew there had to be at least one peter pan collar ;) and a stretch denim A-line skirt.First up is the skirt. Since my daughter is getting a bit older, I made a simple A-line skirt with front and back darts and a back zipper. The stretch denim is from LA at FIDM and it was $3 a yard (I bought 5 yards). Lookbook: Winter White Dress
The first look is one of two dresses that I put into the collection. This particular one is Hannie's favorite. It is an A-line dress make out of winter white gabardine that is fully lined.
