The Bow-A-Constrictor Tutorial

I've been working on cleaning up and organizing the house...and trying to solve some storage issues. One of those issues is Grace...and all 8 million of her hair bows. We've been keeping them in a bin but she likes to look through them to pick out which one she wants and they usually end up in a pile on the floor. (And I can't stop wearing those ugly pants either...my husband keeps trying to slip them into the donation pile but it's not happening!) Anyways, over the summer I made ... View the Post

There are two things right now that I am loving....bows and polka dots.  So I combined my love of both to make a cute pocket on a back-to-school skirt for my brand new 2nd grader. The main fabric on the skirt is from Riley Blake's solids collection, Pepper and the bow pocket is Red dot from the Seaside Line.  I am in LOVE with their stripes and polka dots.....they literally have dots in ... Thoughts

Do you ever go through periods where things don't turn out quite like you planned?Days where your plans start out great but then you find yourself looking around and wondering what the heck is going on? When you have all these great ideas but somehow things get all tangled and you can't remember why you thought your ideas were all that great in the first place? When your game is off?  No matter how hard you try or how sensible your shoes are? Well...I'm going through one of those times ...
