Lookbook· Thoughts

I still love Navy Blue.

I have had this pile of fabric sitting on this bench since before July......and it is calling to me.  So, I am finally getting to it this week. You see, liZ and I have had these grand plans for a couple of years now to sew a full "Lookbook" wardrobe for our girls.  We have talked about it FOREVER and decided last Spring (before we went to LA for our fabric-shopping trip) that this Autumn/Winter was the year!!!!  We were each going to make 5 or 6 coordinating outfits for our girls and put ... Sew for Boys· Tutorials

Messenger Bag Tutorial

Over the summer we were invited to participate in a fun series with Melly Sews where we had to sew something for one of our boys that was inspired by a song. $5 Friday: Fancy Little Lady Skirts with DIY Iron On Patches

So as I mentioned a little while ago I've been into making my own iron on patches. I don't have any of those nifty machines that you just send an image over to and it cuts out some stuff. (In all honesty I don't even know how they work and haven't ever seen one.) I've just been making them the old fashioned way...draw a picture, trace it onto fabric, iron Heat-and-Bond onto the fabric, peel, stick, iron onto the desired location, and sew around the edges. Done. And I love them so much ... View the Post
