Liz has done it again! These peg dolls will be showing up at many a boutique this year and I absolutely love, love, love them! These are the sets that Hannah got for Christmas and she has been playing with them non-stop. It was a real tragedy the day that little Hannah (her look-alike peg doll) accidently rolled under her bed. But, fortunately, mom saved the day and all is well in her room again. ... View the Post

The Penguin Encounter
With the end of the winter dull drums upon us I've got the crafting bug something fierce. And while I wish it was inspiring me to whip up something wonderful it is expressing itself through silly projects like the Penguin Encounter. All you need are old bottles and socks, some googlie eyes, Styrofoam balls, and some black spray paint and instantly you've got penguins hanging out on your porch.I actually saw this in Disney's Family Fun magazine and my 5 year old and I have had so much fun trying ... A Surgery and a sweater redo….
I am down for a bit recovering from surgery, and on the couch, so I thought that I would post an older project that I haven't gotten around to yet....Behold--the sweater set redo.I had a really nice cashmere sweater set that my mom had given me for Christmas quite a few years ago. They are $3 each and can be worn as hairclips, clipped on a purse or bag, and (my favorite way) clipped to a cardigan sweater. ... View the Post

Santa Clara Swiss Days
These are some photos I just ran across of Santa Clara Swiss Days. This is a boutique that we did last summer. Our booth was kind of a hodge podge of leftover items from other boutiques and new ideas. We had everything from Halloween countdown garlands to hand pieced Christmas tree skirts to baby bibs but what we should have sold was water! This show was so HOT! It was over 100 degrees and in the middle of a parking lot next to the beautiful new city hall. I still can't believe that we didn't ... View the Post
