One of my go-to ways to make a quilt is to buy a roll of 2.5" pre-cut fabric strips and make a strip quilt. I love to make them because you can have the whole quilt top put together easily in an afternoon and there are so many different fabrics that you can add that are already cut for you! My mother-in-law recently sent us home with a huge bowl of some of the last garden tomatoes so we put together a huge batch of garden salsa. The intention was to can a bunch of it, but it was so yummy and delicious that we never really got to the canning party and most of it was gone from our fridge in a week's time. Today I get to share what may be my favorite version ever of our Saturday Afternoon Quilt Pattern....which is saying something because I've made dozens of these quilts!
