Last month we were asked by the SNAP CONFERENCE to share our word for 2015 over on their site. The word I chose was "Araneae". I know....it's not even a verb...but after a lot of thinking I realized it was the only word that I could pick for this year...and if you are wondering why that is you can read on. ... View the Post

Black and White Modern Baby Quilt
This tutorial was originally posted on Riley Blake Designs last month, but it really is one of my favorite things as of late! I have actually made two more with the same colors and designs in lap sizes (just add two more rows!) and they are gifted to their homes already. I also love the black and white modern baby quilt because it is gender neutral and makes a darling play mat or a toddler bed quilt as well. (Even thought technically it's not a sunburst design it reminds me of one so....) It was really easy to make and it you'd like to make one ... View the Post

You can bind your quilt with bias binding (I do both depending on the quilt) but I have found that straight bindings are easier if you have never done it before. In a bias ... View the Post
Plus Quilt
I actually was working on this quilt at the end of last summer, but it slipped through the cracks when school started and the craziness also started. But it feels good to get another work in progress completed and done! ... View the Post
