Today I am FINALLY sharing a quilt that I made almost an entire year ago...our Picnic Quilt Pattern! It was actually the first quilt we sewed up together with the ladies in our STASH group. Our Picnic Quilt Pattern which is a super fun...and super simple quilt pattern. Essentially it is just rows of snow ball quilt blocks.. ...with 4 patch blocks in between them! Easy peasy! And the result is darling. Every single time! No matter what fabrics you ... View the Post
Baby Quilt From Scraps
Earlier this spring I put together our Azure Skies Quilt Pattern using some Riley Blake solid fabrics that I really loved. And when I was finished I had a pile of scraps that were a variety of lengths but all the same width....and that got me thinking...and the next afternoon I stitched up all the scraps along with the left over white scraps from several quilt backings and BAM! I had a new baby quilt! It was a super quick sew since the pieces were already cut and were all the ... View the Post
Santa (and His Elf) Quilt Pattern
Today I am excited to finally release our Santa (and His Elf) Quilt Pattern! Azure Skies Baby Romper
I have been making a few project out of Azure Skies that I am excited to show you. This baby romper is one of them and I was so excited to sew some kid clothes again. I made this for a baby shower and it turned out so cute. I love it. I used a vintage Simplicity pattern (Simplicity to be exact) and did the shorts version. The pattern size was 12 months so she should be able to wear it next summer or even next fall with a shirt and sweater. I did modify the pattern so as not to do snaps, but ... View the Post
