30 Minute Homemaking Tasks

The Saturday Afternoon Quilt Pattern Official Release!

Today we are so excited to release our very first quilt pattern....The Saturday Afternoon Quilt! The Keep Your Pants Dry Picnic Quilt Tutorial

That's right....this is the Keep Your Pants Dry Picnic Quilt Tutorial. Today we get to take part in our friend Melissa's Summer Sewing Series over at The Polka Dot Chair. And so today I decided to make something to eliminate one of my summer pet peeves. If you are like me and you go to the park, the splash pad, the backyard...or anywhere really...and spread out your blanket, somehow you have found the only damp place on all the lawn to set up camp. It could be 237 degrees outside ... View the Post

Quilt

A Comfort Quilt.

Recently I made a comfort quilt for a friend who is going through quite a health scare in her life.  And although I don't know her super well, I have been so impressed with how she is handling her struggles.  I feel like I was in her situation 10 years ago...and I don't know that I was that positive.  I felt so lucky to be surrounded people who were positive about my health, but I was pretty grumpy about the whole health situation. She has been so positive and upbeat and is fighting her battles ... View the Post
