Over the summer I've been working on a few projects that I haven't had a chance to share yet. Like this field journal and messenger bag that I made for Simon. The fabric came from a fat quarter bundle that we received in the mail from Coats and Clark. It is a sneak peak at a brand new line that will be released in the United States next month! The line is designed by Tim Holtz and is called Eclectic Elements. The line has a great turn of the century vibe and it reminds me of adventures, ... View the Post

Because we could use a little Hamburger Helper….
No, this isn't a sponsored post. It's not really even about Hamburger Helper. But who can resist this little guy?(source)Let's start at the beginning. I have had this pile of fabric sitting on this bench since before July......and it is calling to me. So, I am finally getting to it this week. You see, liZ and I have had these grand plans for a couple of years now to sew a full "Lookbook" wardrobe for our girls. We have talked about it FOREVER and decided last Spring (before we went to LA for our fabric-shopping trip) that this Autumn/Winter was the year!!!! We were each going to make 5 or 6 coordinating outfits for our girls and put ... View the Post
