So Friday morning at 4:50am Elizabeth and I were pulling out of my driveway on our way to the airport. $5 Friday: Pom Pom Hairclips
Today's $5 Friday is an easy craft that you can do with girls of any age. Hannie was the yarn-wrapper, and I was the tie-er and gluer. And we had a fun time. On some we did regular old alligator clips. And on some we tied in hair elastics (with a dab of hot glue to keep them in there better). Thrifted Thursday: The Skirt That Was Not Meant To Have Pockets
So night before last the kids were snuggled into bed and my husband was doing some work so I decided to make myself a skirt to put into the flicker group over at Crafterhours skirt week. Vintage Pocket Wrap Skirt.
Today's project was one that I cut out about a month ago...and finally finished today. It is from a 1968 vintage wrap skirt pattern that was a girls size 8. So, I did some math (super hard for me sometimes) and sized it down to a 5/6, and luckily it worked! (I love it when that happens).
