Project Run and Play
Have you all been following Project Run and Play? And been totally blown away at the designs? Seriously fantastic designers.....we seriously can't wait until Fridays to show all of you. Every time one of the designers emails us their HTML and we take a peek, we call each other and gush. Serious gush. Because each design has been so amazing. Some Dresses
Here is the last of the Christmas presents that I made this year. These two for some nieces on the other side of the family. It was kind of fun to make matching dresses for a change. Because the garland is too cute to put away....and is PERFECT for Valentine's Day. {I am terribly sorry if you are not ready for Valentine's posts yet. I am not either. But you may have to get some before ... View the Post

So, I went with orange and navy. A good combo for the boys and a girl....and thankfully I did get them done (allbeit, Christmas Eve morning....but they did get their buttons on!) This is the nightgown I made ... View the Post
Grandma Ruth’s French Chocolate
(source)One of my favorite traditions as a child was Christmas breakfast. It was the one day of the year when we got to drink Grandma Ruth's hot chocolate or "French Chocolate" as we called it. There's absolutely nothing French about it....but I can promise you that it is absolutely delicious. We always had an egg casserole (an egg strata), cinnamon rolls and as much of this hot chocolate as we could drink; stirring it with candy canes and always leaving the table with ginormous chocolate ...
