Today we are over at Sewing in No Man's Land sharing in Kelly's 12 skirts of Christmas...which, by the way, did you see her Anthropologie knockoff? Absolutely darling. See you there!!! P.S. Can I tell you how nervous I was to send pictures to Kelly especially because that girl is one amazing photographer? Add to that the fact that we haven't seen the sun in days......argh......so when you go over there.....pretty please don't judge my pictures against hers. (That's all I ask....) P.P.S ... Holiday Party Games for All Ages and all Under $5
First of all let me apologize for the super long, million picture post that is to follow. (Actually, I'm not really sorry. These games really are fun and the picture explains them better than my words can.) Secondly, I can't take credit for any of these games because #1 my parents organized all these games and #2 the ideas came from the TV game show Minute to Win It. (And they have a list of all of their games, the rules and needed supplies HERE. The list is huge and there are tons of fun ... View the Post

Thrifted Thursday: Peg Doll Canvas Tutorial
Ok, so everyone knows that I'm crazy about peg dolls so it should seem just about right that I figured out how to hang them on my walls. I promise one day I'll give up the Peggies. But that day is not today and today I'm sharing how to make peg doll canvases. What does this have to do with "Thrifted Thursday"? Well, I made this little lady out of thrifted fabric and am planning on making some more out of some other, more obviously thrifted (and 60's) fabric. Anyways, if you want to make ... View the Post
A Thanksgiving Garland
This is a bit emabarrasing to admit....but I haven't yet decorated my house for Thanksgiving. Am I the only one? I hope that there is at least one other person out there who hasn't. I hardly decorated for Halloween too because we have a one-year old around here who is cute as a button....but is also a wild climbing man. If he sees something up high that he desperately wants, there is no telling what he will do to get it. So, decorating this Fall has been sparse and simple. But at this ... View the Post
Thrifted Thursday– Vintage Sweet Sue Doll
Ok, so this is not thrifted....but it IS one of my favorite vintage items...and it's not even mine. It's my mom's (and aunt's) Sweet Sue dolls. Every Sunday dinner of my childhood was spent at my Grandma Lova's house. And after dinner every Sunday, my sister and I would ask if we could play with my mom's and aunt's (luckily there were 2---I am an identical twin you see) Sweet Sue dolls. It was kind of the "American Girl" doll of our childhood. My sister and I would dress, and change outfits ... View the Post
