Color and Print Choices for Quilting: Today we thought it would be fun to share a mini trunk show of sorts to demonstrate how color and print choices can affect your quilt patterns. For example this quilt: and this quilt: are both made from our "Make it Over the Weekend" Quilt Pattern but, they look like completely different quilts! However, the only real difference is fabric choice. (And one is quilted while the other has been tied...other than that they are exactly ... View the Post
Copycat Chic Fil A Nugget Recipe
As a family we have been trying some knock recipes lately and this copycat Chic fil a nugget recipe is a keeper. The nuggets are tender and juicy and delicious! We paired it with some actual Chic fil a sauce we had leftover and some waffle fries baked from the freezer section, and dinner was a big hit that night. Mickey Beignet Recipe to make at home!
One of our favorite Disney traditions as a family is to wait until it gets dark and a bit cooler in the park, and then head over to New Orleans square to get a large bag of Mickey Beignets to eat as a family. In the winter we love to get some hot chocolate and sit at the little cafe tables, and in the summer we love to eat them while we are in line to ride Pirates of the Caribbean in the dark. I don't know why but I love waiting for that ride at night--it has such a fun Disney ambiance. And ... View the Post
